Our Aerospace Contract Manufacturing Services

From prototyping to high-volume production, we deliver precision plastic components built to aerospace-grade specifications.

Thermoforming & Vacuum Forming

Custom thermoforming and vacuum forming of aerospace plastic components using eight machines up to 5'x9'. We produce radome enclosures, custom trays, and OEM parts from materials including ABS, HDPE, PETG, and UV-resistant ASA/ABS.

CNC Trimming & Cutting

Precision CNC trimming and cutting services using two 5'x10' CNC trimming centers. We finish thermoformed and fabricated aerospace parts to exact drawing specifications with clean edges, precision drilling, and repeatable dimensional accuracy.

Plastic Fabrication

Skilled fabrication of custom aerospace enclosures, machine guards, and OEM parts using automated CNC routers, punch presses, and SolidWorks CAD design. Operations include heat bending, bonding, riveting, and threaded insert installation.

Mold Making & Tooling

Custom aerospace molds and tooling using aluminum castings, polyurethane, and wood patterns CNC-milled to print specifications. Low-cost prototype tooling transitions seamlessly to production aluminum molds after design approval.

Prototyping

Rapid aerospace prototypes produced from low-cost wood or polyurethane tooling to evaluate design fit and function. Master patterns typically completed in a few weeks, enabling quick design validation before committing to production tooling.

High Volume Production

High-volume aerospace component runs using our 4'x7' Rotary Thermoforming machine with cycle times 2.5x faster than standard equipment. Every production run is quality-controlled for appearance and print specifications at competitive pricing.

Aerospace-Grade Quality

Precision Aerospace Plastics from Prototype to Production

Frequently Asked Questions

What does contract manufacturing mean?

Contract manufacturing means outsourcing the production of components or finished products to a specialized third-party manufacturer. The client provides design specifications, and the contract manufacturer — like Hill Plastics — supplies the equipment, materials, tooling, and labor to produce parts to those specifications. This allows aerospace companies to scale production efficiently without investing in their own manufacturing facilities or equipment.
